Bob Dylan (born as Robert Allen Zimmerman) May 24, 1941. Is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He has been a major figure in popular music for five decades. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s when he was at first an informal chronicler, and later an apparently reluctant figurehead of social unrest. A number of his songs such as “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin’” became anthems for the civil rights and anti-war movements. His kind of music is Rock, Folk Rock, folk, blues, country and gospel. He has 54 albums over all.

Bob Dylan’s music is not about the way he sings it and play it his music is all about the lyrics and their meanings.
He’s music is very good but not for everyone. He is the kind of musician that people need to listen too more then once if they do not like this kind of music. Some people may never like he’s music or maybe like just some of it but over all he is a very good artist and very talented and good for his kind of music. Worth a double listeing to get whats really going on on his mind.

Aerosmith is an American hard rock band, sometimes referred to as “The Bad Boys from Boston” and “America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band”. Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has come to also incorporate elements of pop, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues. The members of the band are Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer. They are active and preform until today. They have 14 albums total.

Aerosmith are a hard rock band their music is not as hard rock as the rest of the band of their time like Led Zeppelin. Their songs are very catchy and nice to listen to at any time the songs are easy to remember and to listen over and over. Over all they are amazing and the voice of the lead singer Steven Tyler is the kind of how people recognize the band.

Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1971 and are one of the most commercially successful musical acts of all time. The people in the band are Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor. The band has released a total of 18 number one albums, 18 number one singles, and 10 number one DVDs worldwide making them one of the world’s best-selling music artists. In 1991 Mercury died of bronchopneumonia, a complication of AIDS, and Deacon retired in 1997. Since then May and Taylor have infrequently performed together, including a collaboration with Paul Rodgers under the name Queen + Paul Rodgers. Their song “Bohemian Rhapsody” won for the best song in the last 100 years.

Queen are one of the best rock bands that the world has ever known about and their lead singer Freddie Mercury is known as one of the most talented people in his time in music. Queen preforms was one of the best preforms at all times. Queen’s music is unique and each song has his on meaning and style. Overall Queen are amazing in every way possible to describe a rock band.

Phoenix is an alternative rock band from Versailles, France, founded by Thomas Mars, Deck D’Arcy, Christian Mazzalai and Laurent Brancowitz. They are active since 1999. They have 5 CD’s total the last one was at 2009. The names of the albums are: United, Alphabetical, Live! Thirty Days Ago, It’s Never Been Like That, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

This band is very good! the music is mood helping it’s nice to listen too and the music is mood lifting they are unique but not in a weird way. They are good live as they are good in their albums and worth to listen too and have fun with their music.

Coldplay are an English alternative rock band. Formed in London in 1997, the group comprises Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion. In the beginning of there way the were compared to u2, radiohead and another bands like that. They have 5 CD’s over all and the last one came out in 2009.

genres: alternative rock.

They are a very good band and very successful. although sometime their songs sounds kind of the same they are very good. their music is very calm and nice to chill with over al a good band nice to listen too at anytime and just have fun with.

The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones are an English rock band, formed in 1962 in London. The members of the band are Brian Jones, Ian Stewart, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts. By the mid sixties the Stones were the number two band in rock behind the Beatles. They would turn out a number of great songs written by Jagger/Richards that had instruments on them that were never heard before in rock music. They are the longest running act in the history of rock music. The Rolling Stones are preforming until today and the still have the same energy they had in the beginning.

Genres : Rock, rock and roll, blues-rock, rhythm and blues blues

The Rolling stones are a really good band they are uniqe and when they began they were one of the first bands to start with rock and rock and roll in the 60′s and they are kindda old but they have the energy of a young people and they are amazing preformens.

Pink Floyd were formed in 1965, and originally consisted of university students Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, and Syd Barrett. Pink Floyd were an English rock band who earned recognition for their Psychedelic music in the late 1960s, and as they evolved in the 1970s, for their Progressive rock music. Pink Floyd’s work is marked by the use of philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, innovative album cover art, and elaborate live shows. Pink Floyd are not preforming today but their is an Australian band who preform the pink floyd songs and with the same art and stage costumes and creatures.

pink floyd is a very unique and good band a little bit psychedelic but really really good worth to listen but it’s the ind of music you need to get used to.

Muse are an English alternative rock band from. Since their inception, the band has been composed of Matthew Bellamy , Christopher Wolstenholme , and Dominic Howard. Muse are known for their energetic and extravagant live performances and their fusion of many music genres, including progressive rock, classicalmusic, hard rock and electronica. They started at 1994 and they are still preforming today one of their song “Supermassive Black Hole” was on the movie “twilight that brought the band to more conches at the younger crowed.

Geners: Alternativerock, New Prog

The band is very good their preformances are amazing and thier music is vey uniqe and fun a little bit dark but still fun to hear at every time of the day they kindda remind the type of music of MGMT but they are still different and very good.

The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in LA. They were among the 1960s most controversial rock acts because of the vocalist Jim Morrison. They are 4 members in this band Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore, and Robby Krieger. They have 9 CD’s. After the death of Jim Morrison the members of the band continue preforming without him. In 1991 came out a movie about the life of Jim Morrison and about his music and all the drugs he took.

Genres: Rock & Roll,Psychedelic rock, Acid rock, Blues-rock, Hard rock

The doors are a good band and they kinda started the genre of psychedelic rock and they have a special type of music and if u listen to one song the other will probably in the beginning will sound the same but thats because of their type of music but every song is different they are a great band a worth listening to them

The Beatles (1960 – 1970) were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960 and one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts in the history of popular music ( wikipedia ). 4 people are the members of this band their names are : John Lennon, Paul Mccartney,George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They released 13 CD’s overall and every CD had a huge success. They also did an animation movie called “The Yellow Submarine”. The following years came out a movie called “Across The Universe” who is based on the Beatles songs.

Genres: Rock, Pop

Great band every song is very good and just nice to listen to they are a band of one of a kind and probably no one could ever be like them. They are the first of their kind and probably the last great band over all go listen to them
